Blog research leads me to this really promising site.  Tech Crunch (A-List blog) on PicksPal.  Michael Arrington is my hero - even though (or because) he has no specific technical background.

Week 2

NFL week 2 mash-up of picks against the spread.  Other People's Picks  // Or is that a mash of other people's pick-ups?

A's win the series

His picks - did not pick the SD/Tenn game.  Not counting the Mon nite game (he picked Jax) - 10 right, 4 wrong.  This is very good.

RJ Elliott at Blog Critics

Giants, SF, Pitts - This guy picks all the games, but not against the spread.  This looks useless, may have some value if he is consistently wrong.

2 right, 1 TBD - very good.

Not Just a Game:  Week 2, Week 1

No picks posted on Sat Night.  Sunday morning - we have picks.  They are not so easy to find - but once I find the page, I like what I see.  They claim to get 20,000 hits per month, before the football season started.  They went 11-4 in the first week.  If they go 11-4 this week, the hit meter is going to register some big gains.  So with no further ado, here are the 2nd week picks:

wrong - Tampa Bay +6
wrong - Philadelphia -3
wrong - Carolina +1.5
wrong - Miami -6.5
wrong - Houston +14
wrong - Green Bay +2.5
bongo - Baltimore -13
wrong - Detroit +7
bongo - Cincinnati -10
wrong - St. Louis -3
wrong - Arizona +7
bingo - Kansas City +11
wrong - Tennessee +12
bingo - New England -6.5
bingo - Dallas -6
wrong - Pittsburgh -2

Results - a very bad week, 5 right and 11 wrong

Real Football 365

Cleveland, Giants

Hector Vex

bingo - Indy
wrong - Miami
bingo - Chicago
wrong - Carolina
bingo - Giants
bingo - New Orleans
wrong - StL
wrong - Ariz
bingo - KC

And 2 underdogs to win - Jets and Skins. - both of these wrong - they did not even cover.

Comment - about 50% - like flip a coin.  I don't like the way his picks are presented - too much yada-yada-yada, and too hard to figure out what the pick is.

Christianity

bingo Ravens
bingo Colts
wrong Browns
bingo Bills
wrong Lions
bingo Viking
wrong Eagles
bingo Falcons
bingo Saints
wrong Rams
wrong Cards
wrong Jets
wrong Titans
bingo Chiefs
wrong Redskins
wrong Steelers.

About 50/50.

Sports Guru

bingo Vikings
bingo Colts
bingo Saints
bingo Balt
bingo SD
bingo - JAX

gotta like the sports guru.  Colts, Balt and SD won easy - he looks like a genius on these 3.  Saints and Vikes were close - but give credit where credit is due.  I very much like that he does not pick all the games.  My new favorite picker.

bozo

NFL Handicapper

bingo - Buffalo
wrong - Oakland
wrong - Ariz
wrong - StL
wrong - Jets
wrong - Skins.

This guy was 0 for 4 last week.

This week - 1 right, 5 wrong.  As they say - it's just as hard to get them all wrong - it just does not pay as well.  This could be a valuable resource, just remember to reverse the polarity.
